Roz Turner
Principal
Roz Turner is the founder of Roz Turner & Associates, a consulting
practice based in Issaquah, Washington. She has over 20 years
business experience as a consultant,
facilitator, speaker and author specializing in communication,
transition/change management, leadership development, executive coaching,
executive team alignment, high performance team development, and culture
change. Roz has been assisting a wide variety of clients throughout the US
and internationally since 1984.
Her experience includes working five years as a Principal consultant with
CSC Consulting Group, a management consulting division of
Computer Sciences Corporation, where she helped to lead large scale,
complex, and often long-term projects with such clients as:
Roz Turner has helped to formulate and lead change
management teams, designed and introduced new organizational and operating
models, designed and facilitated transition and change interventions and
helped to align executive leaders and their teams.
Additional client experience includes:

Developing a change
management program for Expedia.com that has been delivered to
over 300 call center agents.

Managing a contract, in
conjunction with The Tom Peters Group, to deliver worldwide
leadership development sessions to Tektronix, Inc. Personally
facilitated 23 sessions to over 400 senior executives and managers.

Traveling globally in
1991-1992 to deliver over 100 management and leadership workshops in
Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and
Indonesia, in conjunction with The Institute for International
Research (London) for such companies as Neumann Steel Pty Ltd
(Australia), Pinex Timber Products Limited (New Zealand) and
Compaq Computers (Singapore).

Providing one-on-one
coaching with the executive director and senior managers at
Metropolitan Life in Denver over a one-year period. Also conducted
focus group and strategy sessions to initiate culture change.

Conducting focus group
sessions, a culture change assessment survey and executive briefing
sessions for Waggener-Edstrom, a leading Portland/Seattle public
relations firm, with Microsoft Corporation as its major account

Developing and delivering a
series of workshops for the healthcare market focusing on
self-management in times of organizational change; Under contract with
such organizations as Children’s Hospital & Medical Center
(Seattle), Northwest Hospital (Seattle), Kaiser-Permanente,
and Provenant Health Partners (Denver).

Conducting senior executive
retreats to facilitate leadership and executive team alignment for such
companies as Public Service Company of Colorado, The Denver
Post, and Metropolitan Life.

Working with senior human
resource executives at Weyerhaeuser Corp. in 1993-1995 to design
a customized training approach, create training modules and develop a
nation-wide rollout strategy. Managers at 40 sites throughout the US
were coached to deliver the new training and education program to their
employees.
Prior to forming Roz Turner &
Associates, Roz Turner had a 12-year career in marketing and management.
In this capacity, she worked with senior executive teams of high
technology companies in the Rocky Mountain region to help formulate
strategic and tactical marketing plans. She was also a manager for
United Banks of Colorado, Inc. and an account executive with Krupp
Taylor Direct Marketing and Burson-Marsteller Public Relations.
Ms. Turner is the author of the book and video-tape series, Making the
Most of Change (When Change is Making the Most of You). She holds an
MA in Communication from the University of Denver and BS in Communication
from Ohio State University.
June Ramos
Senior Consulting Associate
June Ramos has provided professional coaching, strategic management and
organizational development consulting, communications consulting and
training/seminar delivery to business/industry and government organizations
for more than 25 years both nationally and internationally. June’s primary
emphasis is on helping individuals and organizations achieve optimal
performance by learning and using tools to build collaborative partnerships
and learn how to manage one’s self and others responsibly.
Her focus is on using education and development as a sound way to drive
business priorities and business success through learning. Clients want to
build the capabilities, the expertise and the skills of the people in their
organization. Education and development is also a way to succeed in the
marketplace around key initiatives and projects and to align people around
new ideas and new corporate practices.
In the course of her career, June has worked as the internal and external
communications manager in public relations/corporate communications and was
a management/organizational development specialist for two Fortune 500
companies, provided training and consulting for three international public
seminar firms throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, France,
Australia and New Zealand. She was also the Vice-President of Client
Services for a public seminar firm. June’s relaxed yet focused facilitation
style enables her to connect with participants and to help them personalize
the content and issues for greater understanding and application. She
challenges her audiences to answer the question, “so what?”-- that is, how
they will apply the material, techniques and strategies in their individual
and organizational situations?
